Intersect Development Group (“Intersect”) announced today that it has officially closed on a 47-acre site located at the I-40 / I-85 and Hwy 61 Interchange just outside of Greensboro, NC and plans to begin construction on a new 475,200 s.f., Class “A” industrial building this Fall. The project is expected to be completed by summer 2021.

“This is an exciting project for our company and importantly, a significant investment in the Greensboro community which will support hundreds of new jobs,” said Scott Brown, a Founding Partner with Intersect.  “We believe the I-40 / I-85 corridor between Greensboro and Raleigh is well-positioned to benefit from this type of development as an important logistics hub for one of the many businesses moving to this area.”

“As we’ve seen in recent months with Amazon’s plans for a third Triad delivery facility to Prepac Manufacturing where it will invest over $27 million to support 200 jobs in this same area, it’s clear that many business leaders share our positive view of the Greensboro community.  We are excited to invest in this community and its people, and look forward to beginning construction this Fall,” Brown concluded.

Intersect Development Group was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 2019.  Its principals have over 100 years combined in the development business and over 15 million square feet of development.
