Intersect Development Group Announces Greensboro II Development

March 2022 – Intersect Development Group purchased 45 acres in Whitsett, NC for the development of Greensboro II, a 280,000 SF speculative Class A industrial facility.

Atlanta-based Intersect Development Group has announced plans for Greensboro II, a 280,000 SF speculative Class A industrial facility in Whitsett, North Carolina.

The project builds on Intersect’s successful Greensboro I development and reflects the company’s continued commitment to the Greensboro market and, more broadly, to the I-85 logistics corridor stretching from Atlanta through Charlotte and Greensboro to Raleigh. In March 2022, Intersect acquired a 45-acre site to serve as the future home of the facility.

Greensboro II is designed to deliver best-in-class logistics capabilities, building on the strong momentum of the North Carolina Commerce Park, of which this project is a key part. The development benefits from a robust industrial ecosystem with neighbors that include UPS, Amazon, and Lidl.
